If you are brave, this may be worth a look. The condition of my onu ogugu nwoke hand is terrible. She is WM157 B and I have done very similar things with 2.5mm cables. I stroked her palm and repaired it with a TPE filler made from melted inserts. I can't guarantee that it will last a lifetime, but it is almost three months till now. Her original wire lasted only one month from the beginning. I was her second owner and it fell apart within a few days. I used makeup to darken the skin (TPE filler) on the palms of sex dolls. TBH I used light-colored inserts, as there was no dark tan to make the TPE filler, so the restorations looked a little bit more, but covered the cosmetics. TPE seems difficult to use, but it looks like you already have it .. bravo.
